Charger Blood Drive, 2005

The annual Charger Blood Drive was held on Tuesday, November 22nd. Troop 51
participated in this fun event. I thought it was awesome that we were able to see some
of the Chargers and get their autographs. Some of the jobs that our troop had were checking
wristbands, working in the back or filling up water for the people. For dinner we had hot dogs,
soda, sandwiches and Starbucks hot chocolate. At the end, some of the Chargers came out
on the stage with their wife, children or dogs. I thought it was funny when they showed their
dogs because each Charger looked like its dog and one of the big Chargers there had a
bulldog and it reminded me of him. I am sure everyone had a great time and can't wait to come
back next year.
