Charger Blood Drive, 2004Thomas Redlinger The Blood Drive was recently held at the Town and Country Convention Center. We had a great time that night on Tuesday, November 23rd. It was very shocking that we saw the Chargers and got some autographs from them. The line to get the autographs of the Chargers was huge, about 200 people in line. I heard that a Scout was at the entrance to the entertainment room and was checking wrist bands. One person didn’t have one on so he was stopped. It turned out that the man without a wrist band was one of the quarterbacks for the Chargers and his name was Doug Flutie #7. The scout was doing a great job stopping him but a scout leader recognized Doug Flutie’s face and let him in. After that we went to St. Martins to change out the missalets. I had a great time that evening and I can’t wait to do it next year. |
