Catholic Boy Scout Retreat

The Catholic Boy Scout Retreat was held at Father Joe Carroll's village near Campo
on January 27-29th. It was a very fun retreat. Our theme for the Catholic camp was the
Rosary. We learned about the rosary such as the mysteries for each decade that we
pray. We also prayed the rosary. We did many skits about what we learned.
Each break that we were given our troop and other ones played football, and it was fun!
The weather was extremely cold at night. We slept in a cabin on the floor. It was loud at
night because everyone was snoring. The food was really good at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
At the end of the weekend I thought that I learned more about the rosary and Christ. It was a
very fun camp and I will look forward to going next year.
